My greatest transformation is my one from feeling unaccomplished, weak and mentally exhausted to feeling driven, strong and fulfilled. I attribute this to strength training.

My fitness journey didn’t only start from the desire to change my body and therefore I have always found the benefits to be greater than physical. I fell into fitness when I was personally struggling, my mental battle at the time took a toll on all health aspects; appetite, drive, energy and sleep. In many aspects, I felt weak. When I found weights, I learnt a different kind of strength; the strength you gain from consistently training, the mental clarity it helps to achieve, the sense of accomplishment when you hit numbers you didn’t think you would ever hit.

I have tried it all before so that you don’t have to; I know what’s beneficial for your physique goals, I know what’s beneficial to maintain a positive relationship with food and training. I myself, started with the belief that smashing my body in classes and on the treadmill with limited food and high social restriction was the best way to reach my goal. I soon learnt that this was counterproductive to my goal and simply unenjoyable.

I began on a different career path, with my love of training and nutrition simply being my own hobby, it wasn’t before long though that I noticed a massive gap in the fitness industry, one that I had once fallen for and that I saw too many women around me fall for. I wanted to make a change and therefore went on to put a lot of energy, time and study to becoming the best coach I could be.

I’ve transformed many women’s bodies before and I love that journey, but like on my own journey my favourite transformation to witness is the one where you realise your mental and physical strength, when you grow and nourish confidence and self belief where you didn’t think there was any.
